About this project
Extract Science needed a new website that they could easily update themselves. As tech-savvy users, they also wanted to keep full control of the site. We decided to build it using Adobe Dreamweaver so that they could update and host the site themselves.
The purpose of the site was to give an overview of the database and report related services that Extract Science specialise in. The site content was therefore distilled down to make navigation as simple as possible and to make their three main services more prominent. As a number of client testimonials were included with the brief we chose to incorporate them into relevant pages throughout the site rather than constantly refer visitors to a separate testimonials page.
Extract Science’s logo gave us the colour scheme for the site — vibrant greens and yellows on an off-white background. For each section we also created a large image based header to deliver a clear & high-impact introduction as well as a call to action, prompting visitors to get in touch.
An extra section on the homepage was introduced to help explain to visitors more clearly what Extract Science could do for them and whether they could benefit from the services offered.
